This one-day course offers participants an introduction to the different wildflowers that you may typically find in an upland hay meadow. A classroom based presentation will be followed by the opportunity to learn about and identify species in the wildflower rich meadows of Colt Park, set within the dramatic landscape of Ingleborough National Nature Reserve.
Sarah has been involved in environmental training since she started working for ADAS in 1994. As the YDMT Hay Time officer covering the Forest of Bowland AONB from 2012 to 2018, Sarah has worked closely with farmers and landowners across the AONB area working on meadow restoration. Every summer since 2012 she has also delivered training and guided walks focussing on upland meadows and local wildflowers.
